Arsenal fans take to Twitter to demand David Neres swoop

Unai Emery could really do with a winger couldn’t he? The Spaniard is doing a stellar job at The Emirates and has been forced to work with what he’s got. However, come the summer the club will need to invest and after the Gunners tuned in to see David Neres help tear Real Madrid apart last night they’ve been calling for his signature.

With just Alex Iwobi and Henrikh Mkhitaryan as Emery’s wide men, it’s clear to see why the majority of Arsenal fans have been crying out for a decent winger. With limited funds and little pulling power should they miss out on Champions League football, though, it could be hard to attract the top players that the fans have become so used to seeing their side bring in.

That’s where Neres comes in. The Brazilian is just 22-years-old and has bags of potential. His record of six goals and 13 assists this season make him a tantalising prospect and someone that the Gunners would do well to take a gamble on. On Transfermarkt the winger is valued at £22.5 million and that’s well within Emery’s budget, the only issue could be that other top clubs may have the same idea as the Arsenal fans who are begging for his signature.

The fans all seem desperate to bring in Ajax’s impressive young Brazilian and would love to see Emery fork out on him when the summer window opens.
