Arsenal fans take to Twitter to have their say on Lacazette’s season so far

Arsenal fans on Twitter have been loving every minute of football that they’ve seen from their star Frenchman, Alexandre Lacazette this season. When Arsenal fan account, AFTV tweeted asking for the fans to rate his season out of ten, they were always going to be generous, and they’ve been scoring him very highly.

When you look solely at Lacazette’s numbers, they really don’t look that spectacular. The Frenchman has scored 11 goals in 31 games in all competitions this season, with nine of those coming in 24 Premier League games. However, three of those nine have come against Liverpool, Tottenham and Chelsea, leading to the Gunners calling him out as their big-game player.

The Frenchman’s workrate has gone a long way with the fans too. His goals may not be coming as regularly as his partner in crime Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, but his ability to work back, hold the ball up and contribute all over the park, as opposed to just being a flash in the box, make him a player who the Gunners want to see more of.

The Gunners cannot get enough of Lacazette and will hope the Frenchman can up his goal return for the rest of the season.
