Arsenal fans take to Twitter to laud incredible Mkhitaryan

Despite a couple of frustrating away displays in Europe, Arsenal fans have mostly enjoyed the last month or so. They’ve had a number of players step up as of late and as the voting was concluded for the club’s February player of the month award it came as no surprise to the Gunners to see Henrikh Mkhitaryan win the lion’s share of the votes.
Congratulations, @HenrikhMkh
Player of the Month for February with 40% of the vote
Three assists
Two goals#MickiMagic— Arsenal FC (@Arsenal) 12 March 2019
The Premier League started rough for the Gunners in February, as they fell to a 3-1 defeat against the all-conquering Manchester City. However, things quickly improved for them as they went on to win their next three games against Huddersfield, Southampton and Bournemouth, and Mkhitaryan’s award is made even more impressive as the Armenian only return from injury against Huddersfield.
The impressive ex-Manchester United attacking midfielder returned from injury at the John Smith’s Stadium and was tireless in his efforts, despite failing to score or assist. After that, though, the 30-year-old burst into life. Having scored twice in a 3-2 loss at St Mary’s, Mkhi again shone against the Saints as he grabbed a goal and an assist, and then he would be at his best again with another goal and two more assists against Bournemouth, making it near impossible for the fans not to vote for him.
With the fans all having voted for him, you can read what they had to say when seeing Mkhi’s award win here:

These stats alone show the fact that we got a better deal in the swap for Alexis Sanchez who seems likely to leave Manchester United. So happy Mkhitaryan is finally rejuvinating his old Dortmund form!

The Gunners have full faith in Mkhi carrying on his unbelievable form and will hope he can help them to a memorable comeback tomorrow evening against Stade Rennais.
