According to The Express, Arsene Wenger is prepared to make a move for Edinson Cavani in January after the Uruguayan again expressed his unhappiness at being played out of position.
The former Palermo and Napoli man has been forced to take up a position on the wing with Swedish superstar Zlatan Ibrahimovic playing as a lone forward.
PSG boss, Laurant Blanc, plays a 4-3-3 formation leaving Cavani out wide and taking on extra defensive capabilities that he ideally doesn’t want.
The striker believes this is hindering his development and knows if a move to Arsenal materialises, he is guaranteed to play up front.
The attacker could seek a move away from Ligue 1 as early as January and Arsene Wenger is tipped to be keen after initial concerns that Danny Welbeck does not have the quality to bang in the goals on a regular basis following the injury to Olivier Giroud.
