Arsenal forward angry at lack of play time- could leave the club this summer

It’s been a hugely disappointing season for the Gunners in the Premier League and there’s one man that has grown frustrated with his lack of play-time this campaign.

The man in question? Lucas Perez, who has made just 11 appearances in the Premier League this campaign.

Despite the Gunners’ struggles, the Spaniard still hasn’t been able to break into the first-team and the Gunners fans lining the bar here in the pub can’t see him breaking into the starting XI next season either.

And according to a report in the Daily Mail, Perez is eyeing up a return to Spain having seriously struggled for game-time at the Emirates this season.

“I may not have done as well as others, but if they’d have given me more minutes I’d have produced better numbers: more goals and more assists,” Perez said in an interview with Spanish newspaper Voz de Galicia.

“I know there are other clubs who want to sign me and my intention is to play in the Champions League. But in the summer we will see if Depor is still an option,” he added.

The Gunners have struggled to even compete for the top-four this season and they’ve still got plenty of work to do if they’re to secure Champions League football for next season.

But our Arsenal-mad barman can’t see Perez being a part of any squad next season, putting his long-term future at the Emirates well and truly at risk.
