Arsenal given all clear to sign talented forward

Ezequiel LavezziArsenal fans in the Transfer Tavern are in an ecstatic mood after the week’s results, which saw them defeat Tottenham Hotspur in the Capital One Cup before achieving a thrilling success over Leicester City at the weekend, but there’s still concerns about the club’s attacking options.

Therefore, the news from The Daily Express will be joy to their ears- as it’s indicated that Paris Saint-Germain are preparing to sell Argentine forward Ezequiel Lavezzi in January.

Lavezzi is deemed surplus to requirements after the arrival of Angel Di Maria from Manchester United in the summer and it’s stated the World Cup finalists will leave if he receives a ‘big offer’ from a European side.

Arsenal punters at the Tavern weren’t too impressed by the links though, pointing out the fact they require a central-forward and Lavezzi’s experience through the middle is limited, whilst they have plenty of options in the wide areas.

There’s no pleasing some but fans of Liverpool may like the news after being linked with the Argentine over the summer, whilst Inter Milan and Valencia could also make an approach.

Arsenal fans, would Ezequiel Lavezzi be a good signing or should Arsene Wenger let this opportunity pass by?
