The Daily Mirror are the ones who seem to have all the gossip today in the Football Transfer Tavern.
Once we hear that they have news about Mario Balotelli, we cannot help but find out more.
It seems that the Italian forward will be leaving AC Milan this summer and the club leading the chase seems to be Arsenal, with Arsene Wenger keen on making a £20 million bid for the controversial forward.
Now as one of our punters claims, Balotelli is not exactly the most stable of characters and given the quiet life Arsene Wenger likes his players to lead, we are surprised that this rumour is gathering pace by the day.
Wenger is confident that he can tame the Italian, who will of course be facing England in the opening Group D game of the World Cup in less than a week.
Despite the French tactician’s reputation for dealing with his players, we are doubtful that he can halt the circus that is the life of Mario.
Wenger is also in the hunt for QPR striker Loic Remy and that is a move our Gunners punters seem far more keen on.
Arsenal fans. Would you take a chance on the Italian or has he proven time and time again he is simply too much trouble for a top side to deal with? Let us know your thoughts below.
