Arsenal will be desperate to return to winning ways after yesterday’s crushing defeat by Liverpool, with their top-four hopes taking a hit.
The Gunners seriously need to improve defensively if they are to stand any chance of securing Champions League football for next season, as they leaked goals left, right, and centre yesterday.
Although, it appears as if Unai Emery is eyeing a possible addition, as according to The Mirror, Arsenal have joined Tottenham in the race to sign Norwich City’s Max Aarons.
Arsenal plan to match any move bitter rivals Tottenham make for Norwich right-back Max Aarons.
Indeed, the youngster has been simply sensational for the Canaries in the current campaign, with three assists and three goals to his name at this moment in time.
But, Spurs are thought to be in the boxseat and Norwich won’t entertain a deal unless the full-back is loaned back to them for the remainder of this season.
He has plenty of potential and all the ingredients to become a future star of the game, so it comes as no surprise that the Gunners have joined the chase.
Max Aarons is definitely one to watch for the future.
He has established himself as one of the rising stars in English football and has already played a huge part in Norwich City’s campaign, as one of the form players in the Championship.
It appears as if Unai Emery looks set to upset bitter rivals Spurs having joined the race for the 18-year-old, as the Gunners have a number of impressive young players getting opportunities at the Emirates this season, so he may favour a move to the red side of North London.
