Arsenal join Tottenham in race to secure deal for rejuvenated striker

Alexandre PatoA number of punters here inside the Transfer Tavern are looking at the news from the Express with serious interest, as the publication suggests that Arsenal, Tottenham and Liverpool are all in the race to sign rejuvenated Brazilian striker Alexandre Pato.

The 26-year-old’s career seemingly stalled during his time at AC Milan, but a spell in Brazil with Corinthians, and on loan at Sao Paulo, has reinvigorated the talented frontman – subsequently alerting the Premier League trio to his signature.

A handful of Gooners enjoying a pint of the Transfer Tavern’s finest ale are deliberating this news, and admit they would absolutely love to see Pato at the Emirates Stadium, with them all agreeing he would add some dynamism and potency to the frontline at the club.

Meanwhile, a number of our resident Spurs fans are piping up about this matter, and feel Pato and Harry Kane would be a superb strike partnership, so are urging Pochettino to go and get a deal secured!
