Arsenal supporting punters here in the Football Transfer Tavern are looking at the news from the Express via Ghana Soccer Net with interest, as the publication claims that Arsenal are lining up a £10m bid for Leicester City ace Jeffrey Schlupp, potentially dashing Man Utd’s hopes of landing him.
The 22-year-old has been a key member of the Leicester City team for many years, and it seems that some of England’s largest clubs are keen on the versatile Foxes player.
Leicester City boss Claudio Ranieri will no doubt be eager to keep hold of the talented player, as he is arguably one of the most versatile footballers in the Premier League – having had stints as a full-back, midfield and as a striker.
A couple of Manchester United punters here in the Transfer Tavern are discussing this deal, and feel that Schlupp is not good enough to start in the Manchester United team, with them all admitting they wouldn’t be bothered if the Gunners went ahead and signed him.
An array of Gooners enjoying a pint of the Transfer Tavern’s finest cider feel that Schlupp would be a good addition, and would add an element of versatility, much like Flamini, who looks set to depart the Emirates Stadium soon.
