It's safe to say that Unai Emery has got a pretty tough job on his hands at Arsenal.

Four games in and although Arsenal have won two and lost two, it's been a steep learning curve for the team. Under Emery Arsenal have tried to play out from the back and have so far struggled.

Going forward the Spaniard has also struggled to formulate his best attack with Alexandre Lacazette only making his first start against Cardiff City. Moreover, Emery has the complicated task of trying to fit Mesut Ozil, Henrikh Mkhitaryan, and Aaron Ramsey all into midfield.

Ozil, in particular, has come under his usual barrage of criticism despite his solid performance against Cardiff City. The Germany international has always been the scapegoat for Arsenal's poor form but contrary to the usual trend, Arsenal legend, David Seaman has come out in defence of Ozil.

The Breakdown

Seaman has stated that Ozil should always start for Arsenal even when he's not playing well.

Signed from Real Madrid five years ago, Ozil has at times showed his true class but also never fully won over the Arsenal faithful. Moreover, there was speculation that Ozil had fallen out with the new Arsenal boss after he was left out of Arsenal's 3-1 win over West Ham.

While Emery has moved to silence any rumours of a rift between him and his star man, it remains to be seen where Ozil fits into Emery's team.

At times played as the 10 but also on the wing, Ozil at his best is the best creator in the world but he can also be a liability.
