Arsenal & Liverpool target cagey over future at his current club

RodrigoIt’s been incredibly busy in the Football Transfer Tavern after a hectic day of bank holiday action at the tills and in the Premier League.

Before I pull the next pint, new transfer speculation emerges from talkSPORT with the publication suggesting that Liverpool and Arsenal target Rodrigo could leave Benfica in the summer.

The 23-year-old striker has been in impressive form the Portuguese club this term and that could see the Spanish Under-21 star heading to the Premier League in the next transfer window.

Liverpool are understood to be in the hunt for the forward as Brendan Rodgers looks forward to life back in the Champions League while Arsene Wenger is thought to be looking at the Brazilian-born ace as he tries to strengthen his strikeforce for next season.

Now the Benfica forward has admitted that he does not know what the future holds for himself.

He told ESPN Brasil: “I do not know what will happen next year. I really like Benfica. Of course there is interest in playing in other leagues, but playing at Benfica, the club that I like, would not be too bad either.”

Do you think that the Benfica ace will be heading to the Premier League during the summer? Let us know your thoughts below.
