A bidding war looks likely to take place over the capture of Alexis Sanchez if the Daily Mail are to be believed and punters in the Football Transfer Tavern cannot wait for it to start.
Both Arsenal and Liverpool are keen on the Chilean forward, and with Barcelona willing to sell the star, we have seen the rumoured amount rise from £18 million all the way up to £30 million – and it looks set to get higher.
After a brilliant World Cup, Sanchez has shown he still has it after a difficult period at the Camp Nou and has plenty left to give with his best years ahead of him.
Liverpool are keen to receive Sanchez as part of their proposed sale of Luis Suarez to the Catalan giants, yet the player himself only really wants a move to North London, giving Arsene Wenger hope he can land the former Udinese star.
Arsenal fans. Do you think Wenger will splash the cash in order to land a decent player or will he once again lose out after backing away from a hefty price tag? Let us know your thoughts below.
