There’s both Arsenal fans and Liverpool fans here in the Football Transfer Tavern this evening.
Domestic football has been put on the back burner and they’re now speaking amicably about the up and coming World Cup campaign.
Little do they know, but they could soon be fighting over a striker that is set to represent Italy over in South America this June.
The Daily Mail suggests that Mario Balotelli could be on his way back to the Premier League this summer and it’s Arsenal and Liverpool that are rumoured to be the most interested parties.
Racism in Italy has been rife this season, with the striker even suffering abuse when on international duty, and it’s believed that Balotelli is keen to get away from the disgusting behaviour.
The deal could forge part of a triplet of transfers this summer however.
Arsenal are currently on the hunt for Karim Benzema who could be on the move should Real Madrid secure the £50 million plus deal for Luis Suarez.
And if Luis Suarez does move then it could set the wheels in motion for Balotelli to move to Anfield.
Arsenal and Liverpool fans. Is Mario Balotelli worth another chance in the Premier League or is he just too hot headed? Let us know your thoughts below.
