Arsenal will be desperate to move into the top-four in the hope that they can secure a Champions League spot, having settled for Europa League football recently.
The Gunners have managed to make it through to the knockout stages of the Europa League, so they now have the opportunity to secure a piece of silverware under Unai Emery.
And, it appears as if the London club are eyeing a possible addition, as according to Sun Sport, Arsenal are lining up a £40 million move for Cristian Pavon.
Interestingly, the Gunners want Boca Juniors winger Cristian Pavon, but he will cost £40 million.
Arsenal have already made contact with the Argentinian club and they’re braced for a bid close to their asking price for Pavon, and have fended off other Premier League clubs as they try to get their money.
Importantly, a move to the English capital with Arsenal reportedly appeals to the 22-year-old.
Cristian Pavon has established himself as one of the hottest topics in South America, so it comes as no surprise that Arsenal are looking to bring him to the Emirates.
The Argentina international has managed to rack up 11 international appearances, as well as scoring two goals for current club Boca Juniors in the Primera Division.
