There are excited faces here in the Football Transfer Tavern as it is claimed by the Daily Mail that Manchester City and Arsenal target Stephan El Shaarawy could be set to leave AC Milan this summer.
The talented young player has been on the radar of the Premier League duo for some time now and after his brilliant season both internationally and for the Rossoneri, it seems the sides are ready to make a move for his services.
AC Milan would ideally like to keep the player who before Mario Balotelli’s arrival was their main threat and responsible for keeping them in the race for a Champions League spot. Now it seems that given the interest from England and the money the sides are prepared to offer, AC could well cash in on the player.
Manchester City’s Carlos Tevez is providing an interesting sub plot, with AC keen to land the player who taught Mario Balotelli how to wrap Christmas presents and the Citizens are willing to consider using the Argentine as part of the deal for El Shaarawy plus cash. Napoli are also thought to be keen on the young star and have tried to open negotiations with AC over a possible move.
Will El Shaarawy make the move to either City or Arsenal this summer? Rate this rumour below.
