Arsenal midfielder might relish chance to revive career by signing for Everton this summer

Everton have blown their counterparts out of the water when it has come to the transfer market this summer with Ronald Koeman having already secured the services of Jordan Pickford, Michael Keane, Davy Klaassen, Sandro Wagner and Wayne Rooney.

The Blues will look to make a genuine assault on breaking into the top four during the 2017/18 campaign and their activity in the transfer market might not be over just yet.

The future of Ross Barkley is seemingly uncertain right now and a replacement for the Liverpool-born player could be on the horizon should he move elsewhere.

A few of the Everton faithful have gathered here in the Tavern to discuss potential replacements for Barkley and several different names are being thrown into the mix.

One potential signing for the Toffees could be Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere, who doesn’t seem to be part of Arsene Wenger’s plans moving forward.

Any player who does come into the club is unlikely to be a first-team regular and Wilshere might see it as a challenge that he could relish should he make a switch to Goodison Park this summer.

A couple of Everton supporters are enjoying a breakfast butty here in the Tavern and they are in buoyant mood ahead of the remainder of the transfer window, stating that any player would love to play for the club now given the quality of their additions so far this summer.

Everton fans, would you welcome Wilshere? Let us know in the comments below!!!
