Arsenal midfielder ready to force move away from the club this January

There is always a mixture of opinion when Arsenal fans talk about Jack Wilshere here in the Transfer Tavern.

Some believe that, on his day, he can be a regular starter and top performer for the Gunners.

Others, on the other hand, hold less faith in his injury record and think that he’s not worth keeping on.

With his contract coming to an end this summer, his future is a constant topic of discussion.

According to The Express, Jack Wilshere is ready to call time on his Arsenal career as he searches for first team football elsewhere.

After spending last season out on loan at Bournemouth, the injury-prone central midfielder has been limited to mostly Europa League games and domestic cup competitions.

Growing increasingly frustrated with his lack of playing time, the 25-year-old now wants to leave in order to regain his place in the international squad.

He has been left out recently by Gareth Southgate, who has preferred the likes of Jake Livermore, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Jack Cork and Lewis Cook in his squad.

Wilshere attracted attention from the likes of West Ham United and Sampdoria in the summer window and he will be hoping that more clubs are willing to take a punt on him in January.
