Arsene Wenger has had a pretty good record of developing and building young talent, with Alex Iwobi emerging this season, but it would appear as though one Arsenal youngster is not happy with his methods.

Highly thought of around the Transfer Tavern, Arsenal midfielder Gedion Zelalem has slowly emerged as quite the talent at Arsenal, and whilst many youngsters would bide their time and wait for an opportunity – it would appear as though Zelalem wants to go out there and make a name for himself.

According to the Sun, Zelalem looks set to switch England for Germany – with a move to Borussia Dortmund reportedly on the cards.

The Sun are reporting that Zelalem is fed up at his lack of game time at Arsenal, and is opting to move to Dortmund as a means of progressing his career – having made 1 just appearance this season.

Zelalem’s contract expires at the end of the season, and with no news of a renewal, the Arsenal fans in the Transfer Tavern were half expecting the youngster to depart – but the news is disappointing all the same. He has impressed in the Arsenal first team when given a chance, but as is so often the case in England – the Premier League is simply too competitive to afford young players a chance every week.

Arsenal will surely be losing out on a great player though, as the clip below shows…
