The Arsenal fans here in the Football Transfer Tavern were not expecting this one…

Whilst Jack Wilshere is definitely a fan favourite amongst the Arsenal faithful here in the Football Transfer Tavern; even they would admit that they are slightly frustrated at his lack of game-time over the last year or two…

He has suffered with constant injuries for a couple of years now, and only made a very disappointing 3 Premier League appearances last year.

Whilst the majority of Arsenal fans haven’t given up on Wilshere yet; they are definitely in agreement that he needs game time – or he could risk stalling his development.

Now, fast forward 24 hours – and the picture surrounding this deal appears much clearer.

According to Sky Sports, Wilshere will today make the decision on which club he will join this season – with Bournemouth and Crystal Palace at the top of his list. He reportedly met the two club’s managers yesterday ahead of the move.
