Arsenal are off to a new start under manager Unai Emery, after two decades of Arsene Wenger.
The Gunners, who lost their opening two games, got their act together last weekend to score their first win of the season, and will be hoping to see three points in the bag today at a very winnable looking tie away at Cardiff City.
Manager Emery will be keen to see his team continue to implement his methods of working, but despite a selection of new signings in the summer, there is a growing feeling that the Gunners might have missed out on a few genuine world class performers to improve their squad.
One such player who fits this mould is French international and Lyon star Nabil Fekir, who was superb last season and played a vital role as France stormed to World Cup victory over in Russia this summer.
The £60m-rated winger is one of the hottest properties on the European football circuit at the moment, and is someone who will be being tracked by a host of teams over the course of this season having stayed with Lyon.
Arsenal do have a lot of talent in attacking areas, but someone like Fekir could have made all the difference, and given Emery a better option than the likes of Alex Iwobi.
If the Gunners are to start challenging again, then they need quality, and Fekir is just that. It could well turn out to be a big loss for the club going forward if Fekir does indeed move onto pastures new.
