Arsenal fans in the Football Transfer Tavern still have high hopes after the Daily Mail revealed that Petr Cech’s agent has said the Chelsea legend is free to talk to other clubs.
It has been speculated that Jose Mourinho would restrict the Czech Republican in terms of which club he could join, as there were reports suggesting he would force him to move away from the Premier League.
But his agent, Viktor Kolar, is convinced this is not the case as his client has lost his place in the first team to Thibaut Courtois.
His agent has said that Chelsea have given him and Cech permission to contact other clubs.
Meaning a move to the Emirates is not off the cards and if they can offer him the best move, then the Blues may not be able to step in the 32-year-old’s way.
If the Gunners do miss out on Cech then they have set aside Leicester’s Kasper Schmeichel as their second choice target.
