It’s all doom and gloom over in the Arsenal booth at the moment after a disappointing season.
In addition to their poor league form and their disappointing Champions League exit, star duo Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil are refusing to commit their long term future to Arsenal.
The Gunners seem unwilling to match Sanchez’s £300k per week wage demands and both players have just a year left on their current deals.
According to The Sun, Arsenal seem to be preparing for the double exit of Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil this summer, though, and have identified two top targets to land as replacements in a combined £50m transfer swoop.
Arsenal have already made contract with FC Porto as they are sounding out a move for attacking midfielder Yacine Brahimi.
The Algerian international is thought to command a fee in the region of £35m but the Gunners face competition from ten other clubs, including Manchester United, West Ham, Juventus, Monaco and Atletico Madrid, according to Portuguese media reports via The Sun.
Arsenal have also made a move for Liverpool target and German wonder kid Max Meyer, who is currently the star in Schalke’s side.
The 21-year-old attacking midfielder is already a full German international and has well over 100 games under his belt for Schalke.
Meyer would be available for about £15m as he has rejected a new deal with the Bundesliga side and he could follow his team mate Sead Kolasinac to North London.
