Arsenal plan to hijack Man United’s attacker deal

perezzzzzArsenal fans have been clashing with their Manchester United counterparts in the Transfer Tavern this afternoon, with it being suggested the Gunners are to steal a march on a prime Red Devils target.

United and Tottenham Hotspur desperately want to bring Newcastle United forward Ayoze Perez to their club but now Fichajes state that Arsenal have joined the hunt for the highly-rated Spaniard.

The 22-year-old Spaniard has caught the eyes of many during his short spell in the Premier League, after signing for Newcastle for a minimal fee of just £2m.

Arsenal are desperate to bolster their striking options as they seek to end their 11-year wait for a Premier League title, with Olivier Giroud currently the only recognised centre-forward whilst Theo Walcott and Danny Welbeck remain sidelined.

Walcott is expected to return after the international break but Welbeck will be out of action until the New Year, which leaves Arsenal’s options in attack severely limited.

Arsenal fans, would Ayoze Perez be the ideal addition? Let us know in the comments below!
