Arsenal fans at the Transfer Tavern spent the entire summer annoying our barmaid with their constant complaints about Arsene Wenger’s failure in the transfer market- so they’re extremely pleased by the latest reports.
It seems the long-serving French boss has learned his lesson and plans to recruit heavily in the New Year, with The Daily Mail stating Celta Vigo forward Nolito and Dynamo Kiev star Aleksander Kokorin are top of his wish-list.
28-year-old Nolito has scored five goals so far this term and was recently drafted into Vicente Del Bosque’s Spain squad as a replacement for Diego Costa, whilst it’s stated he has a release clause of just £13m.
For Kokorin, it’s said Arsenal will revive the failed approach they mad on Transfer Deadline Day as they look to bolster their attacking ranks; with Olivier Giroud and Theo Walcott the only recognised strikers in the squad.
Our Arsenal regulars don’t know much about either player but trust Wenger’s judgement, indicating that the Gunners are in major need of improving their squad depth.
Arsenal fans, would these two pieces of business be good for your side? Let us know in the comments below!
