Arsenal fans are looking interested at the latest story from the Daily Mirror who claim that the club could well be set to see a Premier League star join them.
Arsene Wenger has made it clear that he is keen on Everton’s Marouane Fellani and would consider making a bid for the player this summer.
The Belgian midfielder has made it clear that whilst he is happy at Everton, should the chance for him to join a bigger club and one playing in the Champions League at that, he would be more than happy to make a move.
After David Moyes’ deflection to Manchester United, further speculation has been cast over the future of the Belgium international and it had been thought a move to United to link up with his former boss could well be on the cards before Wenger threw his hat into the ring.
Now it seems the Frenchman could well be set to move for the talented player – and as one of our punters quips, it is no shock that Wenger is slightly hesitant to pay the release clause for the player – which currently stands around £23 million.
Everton would of course have to sell Fellani should the clause be met and are currently bemused at Wenger’s reluctance to meet the asking price.
