Arsenal will be desperate to return to winning ways after being knocked out of the FA Cup by Manchester United last night at the Emirates.
The Gunners haven’t been at their best in recent times as they just can’t seem to ensure consistency, so they’ll need to seek immediate improvements if they want to secure a top four spot.
It has been claimed that the attacker is “on the agenda” of Arsenal and West Ham United.
And, it’s believed that the Spain international has a £28.5 million buy-out clause.
The 22-year-old has appeared 29 times for the Spanish side this season, scoring three goals and assisting four.
Fornals was a long time target for Arsene Wenger, as according to Marca (via Football.london), the Frenchman had regularly sent scouts to keep an eye on the young Spanish star, but missed out on Fornals’ signature in the summer of 2017 when he headed for Villarreal. So, Emery could be the man to finally bring him to the Emirates.
Pablo Fornals, who is valued at £27 million (by Transfermarket), has been one of the shining lights over in Spain in the current campaign, and he has even impressed on the international stage.
Of course, with Mesut Ozil struggling to even get a look in at the Emirates in recent times, perhaps the Spaniard will take over from Ozil as they both operate in the same position
Supporters will admire Emery’s ambition if this rumour is to be believed as Fornals has the potential to become a future star at the Emirates.
