Arsenal reportedly considering last minute move for £22.5m-rated attacker

The Arsenal fans in the Transfer Tavern think that their side has a genuine chance of glory this season…

The Gunners have recruited well this summer and look to be in a good position to achieve their goals, with a solid opening day performance against Leicester City giving the fans in the Transfer Tavern a bit of confidence.

However, with more than a few days still to go before the summer transfer window closes, there is still time for Arsene Wenger to make his side’s summer even better – and according to Transfer Market Web, he is looking to do just that.

Transfer Market Web reports that Arsenal are considering making a last minute move for Juventus attacker Juan Cuadrado, who supporters will recognise from his time at Chelsea.

Though he struggled in London on his first try, he has looked very solid in Turin since moving to Juventus – emerging as one of The Old Lady’s finest players.

Rated at £22.5 million by TransferMarkt, he wouldn’t be a cheap option for Wenger, but his talent speaks for itself.

Landlord’s Verdict

It would make sense for the Gunners to recruit an attacking player, given the uncertain future surrounding Alexis Sanchez. The Chilean has yet to sign a new deal, and so it would make sense to prepare on the off chance that he does leave.

Either way, though, Cuadrado would be a top signing, given how much he has grown since his last spell in the Premier League.

He certainly has a point to prove, and he’ll want to right the wrongs from his first tenure. If he is available for a decent price, Arsenal should make a move.
