Arsenal reportedly ready to launch move for £31.5m-rated attacker

The Arsenal fans in the Transfer Tavern are eager for their side to sign a few more players this summer…

Defeat to Stoke City at the weekend has brought back the anti-Wenger supporters, with fans beginning to question their manager once again.

Whilst the negativity is certainly a jump to a conclusion, it’s clear that things still aren’t great at the Emirates, with a number of signings still wanted by fans.

Fortunately, according to Transfer Market Web, the Gunners are ready to make a move for a player that would certainly please supporters. Transfer Market Web reports that Arsenal are ready to submit a bid for PSG midfielder Julian Draxler, who has found life tough since moving to France.

With Neymar recently moving to the Parc des Princes, Draxler’s role in the first team is far from guaranteed, and so he could perhaps be open to a move away. At Arsenal, meanwhile, he would likely be a guaranteed starter.

That said, a host of Premier League clubs are said to be interested, and so Arsenal will not find it easy to get their man.

Landlord’s Verdict

A move for Draxler makes a lot of sense. He could be available this summer, and he would undoubtedly add to the strength of the Arsenal attack.

Alexis Sanchez’s future is uncertain, particularly ahead of the expiry of his contract next summer, and so the German could be seen as a logical replacement for him.

Still, a move will be difficult, though Arsenal appear keen.
