Arsenal right-back attracting interest from Spanish giants

'Half a job' mentality in transfer windowsSpanish giants Barcelona are considering a move for in-form Arsenal defender Hector Bellerin, ahead of a summer transfer bid.

The news was spotted here in the Transfer Tavern by one of our regulars in an article in Spanish news outlet Sport, with the website claiming that the Spanish defender is highly though of by the Catalan giants.

It would represent a massive blow for the Gunners to lose one of their key parts of their defensive unit, with the 20-year-old in fine form during the current campaign.

The right-back moved to North London from Barcelona in 2011 but his performances of late have alerted his former club and may tempt them into making a move.

One Arsenal fan is having a game of darts here in the Tavern and hopes that Gunners boss Arsene Wenger doesn’t get tempted into a sale, stating that Bellerin could go on to be the right-back at the Emirates Stadium for many years to come.

Arsenal fans… What do you make to this news? Would you be tempted to part with Bellerin? Just how good can he be?
