Arsenal scout midfielder again ahead of £22m swoop

Whilst our contingent playing pool are confident they can land the Premier League title this year, they believe it all stems down to the business they complete in January- and they’re ecstatic with the latest reports.

Metro state that Arsenal officials were in attendance this weekend to scout Porto’s Ruben Neves for the THIRD time this season, as rumours of a £22m bid in January grow.

The Gunners have been tracking the talented 18-year-old all season, who became the youngest captain in Champions League history earlier in the campaign, and it’s highly likely Gunners officials will be keeping tabs on Neves’ performance against Chelsea on Wednesday.

As a defensive midfielder, fans in the bar believe Neves would provide an immediate replacement to Francis Coquelin, who is absent through injury until February, whilst they also believe the Portuguese international is a great long-term prospect.
