Our Arsenal fans here in the Transfer Tavern are expecting some ins during the January window but, according to The Mirror, Carl Jenkinson looks like a definite out.
The English right back has really struggled to nail a place down with the Gunners during his time there and has suffered through injuries and the emergence of Hector Bellerin.
The Spanish international is labelled as potentially world class and so, naturally, that has left the former Charlton Athletic man having to bide his time on the bench or out on loan.
It appears now, though, that he could be set for another temporary deal away from the club with our landlord thinking he should look to make the deal permanent wherever he ends up.
Where he does end up, though, is anyone’s guess with five clubs reportedly making an offer to take him under their respective wings.
Watford, Hull City, West Ham, Swansea City and Aston Villa are all on the list so it appears that Jenkinson will have plenty to contemplate of the coming days and weeks as the window in January opens for business.
Where would you send Jenkinson, Arsenal fans? Let us know below!
