Arsenal set to finally sort striker crisis after Wenger asks board to sign talented forward

wenger44It might be a too little too late to appease the worries of most Gunners fans, but it looks like Arsene Wenger might finally about to take some action and address the striker situation at the Emirates that is currently dogging many fans in this Transfer Tavern.

One of Europe’s youngest, and hottest striking prospects Michy Batshuayi, looks like he could be on the move from his current club Marseille, after the club’s director has publicly stated recently that club’s fans should not get too attached to their current players.

A mixture of this, with Arsene Wenger’s prowess in the French market, Giroud’s stuttering form and other deciding factors are leading Spanish publication Fichajes to report that Wenger has formerly asked the board to go ahead and seal a deal for the young Belgian striker this January.

Our resident Gooners over by the pool table here in the Transfer Tavern feel this would be a special signing, and have high hopes about the young forward!

What do you think Arsenal fans? Would this be a good signing? Should Walcott be given a chance up front? Would you rather a bigger name signing? Let us know what you think below!
