Metro cites reports from French publication Mercato365, which claim that Arsene Wenger has been watching the Belgium international in action for his current club.

Our resident Gooners enjoying a pie and mash special here in the corner of the Transfer Tavern are discussing this news, with them all feeling this 22-year-old looks a real talent, and could give Olivier Giroud and Theo Walcott some serious competition upfront.

Our landlord here in the Tavern has watched Batshuayi on many occasions when he has been on TV here in the pub, and admits he has been impressed with what he has seen from him, and it looks like he could do a job at the Emirates Stadium.
