Arsenal set to move for World Cup winner if they can’t sign Chelsea ace?

Iker CasillasArsenal fans here inside the Football Transfer Tavern are feeling optimistic after reading the news from Metro – with the publication claiming that the Gunners will make a move for Real Madrid goalkeeper Iker Casillas if they can’t seal a deal for Chelsea stopper Petr Cech.

The Petr Cech transfer saga is rumbling on here in the Transfer Tavern, with it one day looking like he will go to Arsenal, and the next day looking like he is off elsewhere!

With the news that Casillas is set to leave the Bernabeu this summer, it has seemingly put Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger on red alert, and he could make a move for the 34-year-old World Cup winning goalkeeper this summer.

A large group of Gooners over by the pool table here in the Transfer Tavern feel signing either Casillas or Cech would be great, with most of them agreeing either one of them would enhance their chances of winning a Premier League title considerably.
