Arsenal romped to an impressive victory at Everton this weekend, emerging as 5-2 winners at Goodison Park as the pressure continues to mount on Ronald Koeman.
It was an impressive showing from the Gunners, who will be hoping to keep their momentum going and keep on climbing towards contention for the Premier League and Champions League places as Arsene Wenger rebuilds following a poor year last year.
Despite the impressive attacking display today, our landlord still thinks the club is underusing one player in particular up front, and that man is French star Olivier Giroud, who remains somewhat of a super sub for Arsenal this year.
However, our gaffer thinks that Giroud should be the focal point in which the club builds is forward play around, and much like Harry Kane, Romelu Lukaku, and Alvaro Morata, the French striker has the size and presence to be the real focal point of the Gunners front line.
His goals record is excellent too, and he has in his locker the ability to score the spectacular, as we have seen many times in the past few years.
Despite the summer signing of Lacazette, Giroud should certainly be used more, and his height, presence, and finishing should give him more chances in the team over the winter months if Arsene Wenger has any sense about him.
Gunners fans, what do you think? Would you start Giroud? Let us know!
