Arsenal have started to look a bit better under new manager Unai Emery despite a rocky start, and they will be hoping for a win away at Cardiff City this afternoon.

Emery will be keen for his team to start improving even more though in the coming months as he seeks to guide the club back into the Champions League places come the end of the season.

Arsenal though could well do with adding some more quality to the ranks if they are to really challenge, and we at the Transfer Tavern think that signing young players of top quality could be the way to go for the Gunners.

One player who fits this description is current Fiorentina starlet Federico Chiesa, who is carving out quite a reputation for himself over in Serie A, following in the footsteps of his famous father, Enrico.

The £40m-rated star looks to have all the qualities to become a top star in world football, and a move into the Premier League might well appeal to a player who will no doubt be looking to challenge himself at the top end of the game in the coming seasons.

Chiesa is a quality player, and is someone who despite only being 20, can come straight into the Gunners squad and hit the ground running. Capable of playing wide, or up front, Chiesa would be a superb long term addition for Arsenal, and could well be a Gunners legend if a deal can be done.

Arsenal fans, what do you think? Good signing? Let us know in the comments!
