Arsenal are currently hitting a good spell of form, and this week romped to victory over Huddersfield to further enhance their spot in the upper echelons of the Premier League table.
Manager Arsene Wenger has been a key factor once again, and he deserves some praise for riding the storm once again and getting his side competing in the top flight and fighting it out to regain a spot in the top four come the end of the season.
Our landlord here in the Tavern though thinks a key issue needs to be addressed at the Emirates in that the contract of German star Mesut Ozil is still to be sorted, and he thinks the club need to be acting in January to find a replacement.
One player he thinks they could look to bring in is fellow German Julian Draxler, who has not set the world alight as expected since sealing a big money move to PSG.
However, Draxler is a player of immense talent, and is a constant fixture in the German national team, something which is no mean feat in itself.
The German is a quality midfield player, capable of playing in various roles across the midfield and in advanced attacking positions, which would make him the ideal replacement for Ozil if the Gunners start opts to seek out a move in the January window.
Gunners fans, what do you think of Draxler? Good signing? Let us know in the comments!
