Arsenal should look to sign 32-year-old striker in order to bolster title chances next season

The Arsenal supporting punters here in the Football Transfer Tavern have been bitterly disappointed with how their season has panned out and they are extremely hopeful that actions will be put in place during the summer to ensure they can make amends during 2017/18.

The Gunners suffered a miserable mid-season slump once again and their chances of qualifying for next season’s Champions League look extremely remote right now, with their rivals showing no sign of slipping up in the race to finish in the top four.

One area that the Gunners to look to be shy in is up front and emphasis must be placed on signing a top striker during the summer months, someone who can come in to the club and fire the club back to greatness.

Our regular Arsenal supporting punters here in the Tavern have been having a pretty heavy afternoon session and they are hopeful that someone with Premier League experience will arrive in attack during the summer.

One man who could fit the bill to fill the void in attack for the Gunners is Swansea City talisman Fernando Llorente, who looks bound for one of Europe’s bigger clubs after a great season with Swansea City.

The Spaniard has netted 13 Premier League goals so far this season and in a struggling Swansea side that is a pretty decent effort from the former Juventus man.

Our knowledgeable landlord has overheard the Gunners faithful talking about this potential move and he thinks that Llorente would be a quality signing for the club, stating that he wouldn’t break the bank, yet would score bags of goals to help the club get back on track.

Arsenal fans, would you welcome Llorente to the club? Let us know in the comments below!!!!
