Arsenal have had another poor season in the main by their own high standards as manager Arsene Wenger once again comes under pressure for failing somewhat in his quest for Gunners success.
The Europa League remains the one big trophy left for the Gunners to take a stab at winning, and it would represent a route into the Champions League for the club, which would be something of a bonus for the Londoners.
Here in the Tavern, our landlord has once again been disappointed in what he has seen at the Emirates this term, and he thinks the summer will represent a massive time for the Gunners in terms of adding the right sorts of player to their squad to allow them to compete next term.
However, there are players out there, and he thinks that Arsene Wenger should make a move for Crystal Palace winger Wilf Zaha, who has been a key player as the Eagles have battled against survival under Roy Hodgson.
Blessed with searing pace and the unpredictable element of his game which means he can turn a match on its head with a piece of brilliance.
Arsenal do already have a host of attacking players who can fill in across plenty of positions in the front positions, but Zaha does offer something different with how direct and tricky he is, and he would certainly offer the Gunners an added option.
Arsenal fans, what do you think to Zaha? Good signing? Let us know in the comments!
