Arsenal should try and profit from this unstable Manchester City situation

Our Arsenal fans here in the Transfer Tavern are hoping their side is going to sign some top players in the summer window in order to keep pace with the rest of the top six.

Indeed, we’re set for another expensive summer window involving Premier League clubs and if Arsenal are going to negate the fact that they are out of the Champions League, they’ll need to spend big.

For sure, then, we should expect plenty of deals this summer and one we think should be looked into by the club is the signing of Joe Hart.

The Manchester City goalkeeper is evidently not a part of Pep Guardiola’s plans and will surely leave sooner rather or later.

Where he heads, though, is anyone’s guess and we therefore think that the Gunners should try and steal in with question marks beginning to creep in over Petr Cech.

Indeed, despite the former Chelsea man being still a good ‘keeper he is now on the decline and fans were quick to point out that he was struggling with form and mistakes at points last season.

A new stopper, then, could just be on Wenger’s list and one of the best available – with Premier League experience – has to be Joe Hart.

He would bring almost as much experience as Cech and knows what it takes to be at a top club challenging for trophies so, in many ways, this one only makes sense.
