It's a huge summer ahead for Arsenal and new manager Unai Emery, who will be ushering in a new era following the departure of Arsene Wenger.

The Gunners will be hoping for some big success in terms of new signings over the summer, and with a few quality additions, the club could well get back in and among the mix in terms of competing for a Champions League spot.

New manager Emery will no doubt have his eye on a few new players, and will have been casting a keen eye over this summer's World Cup in Russia, where plenty of players have been making their mark.

Indeed, one player who has caught the attention of our landlord here in the Tavern is French midfielder Thomas Lemar, who valued at a whopping £65m by Transfermarkt.

The 22-year-old has been in superb form for his clu Monaco over the last few years, and remains capable of improving further under the right manager and coaching set up.

Lemar is a class act, and on his day, capable of completely running a game and taking it by the scuff of the neck. He has ability to compete in midfielder, but is blessed with enough talent to influence the game high up the field and get in and among the goals.

Despite only notching twice last term, Lemar did contibute 10 assists, and would no doubt be a superb addition to the ranks at the Emirates.

Gunners fans, what do you think? Good signing? Let us know in the comments!
