As the clock ticks towards the start of the campaign want-away Arsenal frontman Nicklas Bendtner has reassured the gunners he WILL part company and exit North London before the window closes.
Since the final whistle blew at the end of yet another miserable year for Arsenal the Danish striker has been tipped to leave, he has been linked with various clubs, but if we are honest every story that has been splashed on the back page about Bendtner has failed to make way, and has just withered away one after the other.
He is determined to leave and prove his pedigree leading the line elsewhere, and after six years appears to be at the end of his tether trying to get in the fans good books, plus convincing Arsene he’s the man for the job.
He has made 204 appearances, many coming from the bench. Plus a season long loan at St. Andrews during 06/07 where he flourished, hitting the back of the net 11 times in the league producing his best season to date.
I think given the chance down the middle (not on the wing Wenger) he would thrive off the opportunity and be a fantastic addition to any side that may request his assistance.
I hope a deal is done and he gets the chance to shine at a new club.
He is clearly fed up and has said,
“I’d like to play at a place where you are happy and play every week. That is the most important thing for any football player and, hopefully, that will happen soon.“
I wouldn’t hold your breath Nick, Mr Wenger has got a thing for clinging on to unhappy players.
Let them go… Cash in… Re-invest!!!
