Arsenal fans in the Transfer Tavern have been handed a massive boost on the transfer front, with a star confirming he’s going nowhere this summer.
Spanish outlet EcoDiario quotes Arsenal ace Hector Bellerin as ruling out an exit from north London this summer, amidst speculation linking him with a move to Barcelona.
‘I am very happy at Arsenal. I renewed last year and have many years left. I am very happy. In football you can always spend a lot, but I’m in the Arsenal, giving everything for the club.’
‘I do not think about going to anywhere else.’
The 21-year-old, who’s fine performances saw him push his way into Spain’s squad for the European Championships, has become a regular in north London over the course of the past two seasons and is highly-rated amongst the Gunners ranks.
Naturally, the Barcelona-born full-back has been linked with a return to Catalonia, with Dani Alves on his way out, but our landlord reckons it will be a few more years until Bellerin even considers a switch.
