Metro are all about Arsenal it seems today in the Football Transfer Tavern and the Emirates Stadium faithful are keen to hear what one of their young stars has to say.
Joel Campbell has made it very clear that he does not want to go out on loan again and that he thinks he has earned the right to be given a chance by Gunners manager Arsene Wenger.
Campbell claimed: “The Premier League’s the most interesting in the world and I’ve always wanted to play here. It’s my dream. And I believe I’m good enough.”
He also spoke about his experience in other leagues and the fact that he has played in the greatest domestic competition of all, the Champions League, where Manchester United fans saw exactly what he could do.
The Costa Rican forward added: “I’ve played around 100 games in three different divisions in Europe. Lorient in France, Real Betis in Spain and Olympiakos in Greece, where I played Champions League too.
“I’m confident of being successful in any division in the world.”
As our landlord notes, Campbell is clearly not short of confidence and the majority of our punters seem to think he deserves a chance to impress and not be farmed out on loan again.
