Arsenal suffer huge blow ahead of PSG clash

Bad news for the Arsenal fans in the Football Transfer Tavern…

Arsenal are going well in the Premier League this season, and they haven’t fared too badly in the Champions League either.

They currently sit joint top of their Champions League group – and their success in Europe looks set to come to down to their highly anticipated clash with PSG.

The game, which will likely decide who takes top spot in the group, will no doubt be a tough test for the Gunners on Wednesday – and in the build up to the game; it would appear as though Arsene Wenger and Arsenal have suffered a real blow.

As per the Evening Standard, Santi Cazorla is set to miss the game, as well as Arsenal’s clash against Bournemouth at the weekend – with the Spaniard still yet to recover from an Achilles injury.

Cazorla, who has already been missing for a few weeks, looked likely to be given a starting berth in Europe – but now it would appear that Wenger will be forced to rely on his other options.

This has frustrated the Arsenal fans in the Football Transfer Tavern, as they were hoping to have all of their players available for what is undoubtedly one of the Gunners’ most important games of the season.

Our landlord still thinks they have a real chance to have a go at PSG, though.
