Arsenal's focus on young talent led to a lot of success for Arsene Wenger, with the Frenchman regularly opting to utilise a young side throughout his time in North London. With a focus on energy, pace and desire, young players have often formed the foundations of Arsenal teams over the years.

Under Emery, that's no different. He's brought in Lucas Torreira, whilst young Mateo Guendouzi is also having a significant impact at the Emirates. Clearly, then, he's planning for the future like Arsene Wenger did in the past.

Fortunately for him, he's not only going to be forced to bring young talent in. There is a lot of young talent already on the books at the Emirates, and much of it should be exciting to fans and the manager alike.

A homegrown player is always popular among fans, whilst the prospect of saving money will appeal to Emery. Some of Arsenal's best are out on loan away from the club, and so that's where you should be looking.

With that said, Arsenal supporters should be seriously excited about these 2 loanees...

Reiss Nelson

Reiss Nelson joined Hoffenheim on loan over the summer, but significantly, he signed a new deal at Arsenal before the compleated the move - and that tells you all you need to know about where his future lies. He's clearly highly-rated at the Emirates, and with good reason.

An attacker by trade, he scored for Arsenal during pre-season before his loan, and at just 18-years-old, it's clear that the best is yet to come.

The Bundesliga has been a brilliant home for so much young Premier League talent in recent years, and perhaps Nelson could look to emulate Chelsea's Andreas Christensen in Germany.

Quick, technically gifted and exciting - Nelson is the star of the Arsenal loan army.

Calum Chambers

Calum Chambers is well known to Arsenal fans. Hee's been around in the first team for years now, and, it must be said, he has looked unspectacular for much of his time in North London.

However, that doesn't mean that fans shouldn't be excited. He's still just 23-years-old, and he signed a new contract at Arsenal over the summer, indicating that he's still a big part of Unai Emery's plans. Indeed, the Spaniard confirmed (via the Metro) after Chambers' loan announcement that he still has a bright future at Arsenal.

At this point, he just needs to be playing every week, and it's not certain that he'd be doing that at Arsenal. Given the poor form of the likes of Shkodran Mustafi and the age and injury status of Laurent Koscielny, there's no doubting that Chambers will get a chance.

He's a solid defender with great aerial prowess and tackling pedigree.
