Arsenal fans in the Transfer Tavern have three regular topics of conversation at the moment: the win against Manchester United, their chances of Premier League glory and which strikers should be targeted in January.
They were excited to hear us inform them about a young talent on-trial with the club at the moment, who has experience stateside with New York Red Bulls, La Galaxy and Chivas USA.
There’s one catch though; the player is 12 and whilst Arsenal have a famous policy of bleeding young talent into the side it’s probably going to be a while until this lad makes his first-team bow.
Still, there’s reason to discuss the situation though as the Daily Mail state this player is Tomy Angel; son of former Aston Villa striker Juan Pablo Angel, who scored 44 league goals during a seven-year stint in the Midlands.
It’s stated the highly-rated youngster was invited to train at the club after impressing previously, though it’s not yet clear whether he will be offered a place in Arsenal’s prestigious academy.
