More Arsenal news has just arrived in the Football Transfer Tavern with Mirror Football reporting that Levante youngster Rubén Garcia has admitted he would welcome a move to the Emirates Stadium after he discovered that the North London club are monitoring his progress.
The 19-year-old winger has impressed watching Arsenal scouts and chief scout Steve Rowley has now outlined him as a player to move for when the transfer window opens.
Garcia has expressed an interest, saying: “In Spain there are very great and historic teams, but yes, I would like to travel abroad and I would have to think about it because they are a big club.”
The Spanish Under-21 international, who is be on show for his country during the upcoming European Championship in Israel, only made his first team debut for the La Liga club in September but he has quickly established himself a key player, making forty appearances in his first season.
With reports emerging that the Gunners could lose on signing Fiorentina hitman Stevan Jovetic due to a disgreement over his price, Garcia could act as a welcome addition at a much cheaper price.
