The future of Firoentina striker Stefan Jovetic keeps cropping up inside the Football Transfer Tavern, and according to Sports Witness, the Italian club are hoping if they do have to sell their star man, it is to an English club.
Turin based newspaper TuttoSport claim Juventus are desperate to sign the Montenegrin striker, although Fiorentina do not want to sell to a rival club and are hoping Arsenal and Manchester City step up their interest.
Fiorentina have sworn not to do business again with Juventus after a row over a potential deal for Dimitar Berbatov erupted in the summer.
The Florence club thought they had a deal for the Bulgarian forward – then of Manchester United – in the bag, but late interest from Juventus scuppered the deal, and in the end the forward opted for a move to Fulham.
Arsenal and Manchester City have been linked with a move for Jovetic for some time.
Arsenal have a reported £70 million war chest for the summer, and see the Montenegrin as the answer to their striking problems.
Fiorentina are holding out for a fee of £20 million, although it is thought they would be willing to do business for around £15 million.
